Print art from home

I used my Canon MP280 to print these images on white card stock paper.

This is the original etsy post: here
The original image that was printed (Minus the name)

The images printed on my home computer from the pdf file with no adjustments.

More SLC Temple Paintings

Simple, yet lovely I think.  I like paintings to look like paintings too.  I did these 4 versions of the temple.

Landscape #4

I need to read a book on landscapes, but they keep getting a little better.

My first acrylic rose

I did my best.  It's my first acrylic rose and I look forward to doing more roses.

Little Baptism and Baby Blessing Invitation Themes

I just did a little series of watercolors for baptism dresses and baby blessing dresses.  I think they turned out so cute.  Then a little dove.

Painting some clouds

This was a super fun color exercise.  I guess these are landscapes #3 and #4.  One was for my friend Heather.

SLC temple.

I'm going to try and do some other temples for friends.  My next temple is the Orlando temple.  I want to do it today!

Children's Woodland Animal Art

There's an element of imperfection with these pictures that is sort of intentional.  If you want a perfect picture, use a computer image and print it.  Watercolor has character and personality.  I just love the way these little pictures turned out!

My presketch

Inspiration board
This page of instruction was super helpful.  My friend gave me a couple of pictures to use as a reference for style and color.  I used the bottom two pictures for color references, and then the top pictures for style references.

Watercolor Flowers

I love this picture of flowers that my friend Heather Spiel picked out for flowers.  So pretty.  Where did she find it?  I will have to do another version of flowers with this same style.  I think that it helps to get people what they want SO much when they give me a sample picture, and then I can talk to them about a few things and ask questions.
This is the picture I used to base the flowers on.  It's not a copyright infringement because this piece of art was a gift and I didn't receive any compensation.

I do think that watercolors look sharper as a camera image.

Bountiful Temple

One of the biggest reasons I started doing art was because I started the cash system.  Then I realized, "I can use my talents for a lucrative benefit!"  So I started with painting some nursery art for my friend's babies.  What a baby gift!  Then I have slowly started progressing to doing birthday gifts, and this is now a wedding gift!  I love doing little temples, and who wouldn't want a painting of the temple they were married in?  I think it's darling and simple.  My step-mom Gwen says they are her favorite.

Wayne drew this picture of me.  It's me with a paint brush.  I think it's so darn cute!  I love my belly-button.

New Orleans

Today I finally knocked this out.  It took me 5-8 hours total to do this project start to finish.  It was a wonderful pain in the neck, but I finished it today!  That was my goal.  It is for my friend Stephanie, who loves New Orleans.  I don't love New Orleans, but it has a special place in my heart because it's connected to her.  (This paper obviously curled as I painted it.)  I was particularly proud of my washes and layers on the left building.  At the end, it has a semi-professional feel for some sections.

This last picture looks so yellow. I think the one above is more true to color.
